Graham's Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2009 by Jennifer and Nick Hall in memory of their son, Graham. Its mission is to offer both practical and emotional support to parents of premature babies. The foundation supports the parents by sending care packages to them during their journey in the NICU, and the foundationís website provides a place for parents to share their stories and find support.

ďAfter 117 days in the NICU I wanted to give back any way I could to other families who have gone and who are currently going through what my husband and I experiencedĒ.

"Having a later-term premature daughter in the NICU - even for a brief period of time - was an eye-opening experience. I didn't know anything at all about prematurity, and I only encountered the realities that very early preemies face while doing research to find out what difficulties were ahead for my daughter. When a baby born at 28 weeks gestation was admitted to our NICU during our daughter's stay, I saw that her parents were absolutely shell-shocked but I felt like I had nothing to offer them in that moment. Finding Graham's Foundation has given me a way to reach out."
Erin came to Graham's Foundation to support the March 23rd Parents of Preemies Day initiative. Her background is in healthcare management and non-profit event coordination. Working for Graham's Foundation has provided her the flexibility needed while studying in a full-time Masters of Business Administration program. She is inspired by the courage and strength of the Graham's Foundation and preemie community and is learning so much from this awesome group of people.

"After our experience of losing our son, Campbell, and spending 228 days in the NICU with Joseph, I have a passion for helping parents stay connected with their NICU and giving back to others who are currently experiencing life in the NICU."
Melissa is a freelance graphic and web designer as well as an up-and-coming developer. She is excited to have the opportunity to contribute and work for such an awesome foundation. Even though she wasn't a preemie herself, she can relate to the many hours that parents spend in the NICU because she spent a couple weeks there and as a result of not getting enough oxygen to her brain, she has mild Cerebral Palsy. That doesn't stop her from doing and being all that she can be. In May of 2011, she graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications Technology. Melissa is always striving to improve herself and her career goals.

"When I saw all that we had going for us in the NICU...a marriage with a solid foundation, supportive employers, excellent health insurance, help from family and a wonderful NICU staff...yet we felt like we were barely surviving, I knew we had to leverage our experience and help make a difference for future parents of extremely early preemies."
