The MyPreemie Fundraiser is focused on raising funds to help ensure that the MyPreemie app continues to be a valued and trusted resource of support and information for parents of premature babies as well as provide an opportunity for preemie parents and their friends and family to come together, connect, share, and celebrate their journeys.
Hosted by board member, Scott Cohen, the event is designed to bring together preemie parents along with family and friends, to connect, share stories of hope and inspiration and raise funds to help support the industry-leading resource for preemie parents, the MyPreemie app.
The MyPreemie app was launched in 2013 by Dana Linden, Mia Doron and Emma Trenti, authors of MyPreemie: The Essential Guide for Parents of Premature Babies and has since been downloaded by over 250,000 families. Now available in iOS and Android, English and Spanish, it is recommended by Neo-natal Intensive Care Units everywhere.
Our fundraiser is taking place at the historic venue, The Players. The club’s 1847 mansion on Gramercy Park is a treasure of the Gilded Age, and the clubhouse was named a National Historic Landmark in 1963. The Players is the oldest New York City membership club still in its original home.
The evening will be filled with delicious food and drink and the opportunity to have fun at our Graham’s Foundation Casino sponsored by Trellis Capital Partners where you will be playing for raffle tickets that will give you the opportunity to win a number of exciting prizes.

MyPreemie App Capital Campaign
The MyPreemie Fundraiser will be used to kick off our capital campaign. MyPreemie is the most recommended mobile app for preemie parents. Over 250,000 families have leveraged the app since it debuted in 2013.
The goal of our capital campaign is to raise $100,000 by the end of 2025 to help us make upgrades and improvements to ensure the app is available well into the future.
Our most urgent need is to ensure the app continues to be available and stable is by upgrading the app’s software code. The platform the app is currently built on is becoming obsolete and as a result it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the technical skills needed to make updates and ensure that it is in compliance with iOS and Android requirements.
Your donation will enable us to update (refactor) the software, which will simplify and lower the cost of future updates and enhancements. Donations will also help us to move the app to the cloud, enabling parents to share an account with one another and other family members. Which means their precious data will be continually backed up and available.
Lastly, your support will help us conduct a thorough review of the content and graphics to ensure we are able to maintain the look, feel, and quality during the app’s technical transition.
