Each year, Graham’s Foundation honors an individual whose contributions have led to significant advancements for preemies and their families. This year’s recipient was James Moore, MD, PhD, (center) of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Moore is surrounded by representatives from Mead Johnson Nutrition from left to right: Rick Skaar, Laura Montle, Dr.James Moore, Jessica Delvecchio, Michelle Snelbaker, Michael Peapos.
The award was a one-of-a-kind featuring the winning artwork from our “From Preemie to Future Picasso” art contest. Dr. Moore praised his team for improving the outcomes of premature babies, noting he was accepting the honor and award on their behalf as well.
Guests sipped technicolor martinis (provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka) as they mixed and mingled with others who share a passion for Graham’s Foundation’s Mission to support, comfort, inform and guide families who experience a premature birth.
Hands were flying during the Fund A Family auction. Proceeds from the auction support the Graham’s Foundation Care Package program that includes a Care Package sent to preemie parents, the MyPreemie App, and our 24/7 Preemie Parent Mentor hotline.
